How to Merge Multiple GPX Tracks Into One File

A multi-day trip often ends up as several separate GPX files: one per day, or one per leg of the journey. To view the whole thing as a single route, or import it all at once into an app, you need to merge those files.

Two ways to merge

Our tool offers two modes: merge into a single continuous track (files are stitched together in the order you added them), or keep separate segments within one file, useful if you want to preserve the visual distinction between each day or leg.

Merging GPX files

Use our free GPX Merge tool: drop two or more GPX files, choose the merge mode, and download the combined file, entirely processed in your browser.

The order you add files in determines the order of the merged track. Drop them in the chronological order of your trip.
